As you know, Cambodia and its people went through war for more than 30 years. During the Khmer Rouge Genocide Regime much of the country was destroyed including the road infrastructure, hospitals, religion, and especially the education system and human resources. After that terrible time, my country has gradually recovered through tourism, which we have found very supportive.
Since i have been working in this field, i have met and connected with many generous travelers from around the world who have traveled with me and want to help reduce the poverty in this country. As a result of the donations from the travelers who have chosen my services, I have paid back a lot to poor communities and people by providing many water concrete ring wells and water pumping wells for those who live in the isolated or remote countryside for their daily use. As you know, water is the basis of life and prosperity for all humans and living beings.
Besides this clean water well project I also focus on school uniforms for children, school supplies and a school kid bicycle project, because many poor children have no school uniforms and they have difficutly in walking to school which is too far from home. The education of children is one of the most important aspects of society, and of course the children are the future leaders of every country, including Cambodia.
